Dashboard Features
The Notify dashboard is designed to provide users with a streamlined experience for managing email templates, sending emails, and accessing account information. This guide outlines the key features of the dashboard and how to utilize them effectively.
1. User Authentication
When you first access the Notify dashboard, you will need to log in using your credentials. If you don't have an account yet, you can easily create one by following the registration process.
Logging In
- Navigate to the Notify login page.
- Enter your email and password.
- Click Login to access your dashboard.
Account Creation
If you are a new user:
- Click on Sign Up on the login page.
- Fill in the required details (email, password, company name).
- After registration, you will receive a confirmation email. Follow the instructions to verify your account.
2. Dashboard Overview
Upon logging in, you will be presented with the main dashboard interface, which includes:
- Navigation Menu: Access different sections such as Templates, Emails, Credentials, and Settings.
- Welcome Banner: A personalized greeting along with your company name.
- Quick Actions: Buttons for creating new templates and sending emails.
3. Template Management
Creating Email Templates
The dashboard allows you to create and manage email templates easily.
- Navigate to the Templates section.
- Click Create New Template.
- Fill in the required fields, including template name, subject, and content.
- Use the rich text editor to customize your template with images, links, and formatted text.
- Click Save to store your template.
Editing Templates
To edit an existing template:
- Go to the Templates section.
- Click on the template you wish to edit.
- Make the necessary changes in the editor.
- Click Update to save your changes.
Deleting Templates
To delete a template:
- Navigate to the Templates section.
- Locate the template you wish to delete.
- Click on the Delete button next to the template.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
4. Sending Emails
Sending a Single Email
To send an email directly from the dashboard:
- Go to the Emails section.
- Click on Send New Email.
- Choose a template from the dropdown list.
- Enter the recipient's email address and any custom data if required.
- Click Send to dispatch the email.
Sending Bulk Emails
For bulk sending:
- Navigate to the Emails section.
- Click on Bulk Send.
- Upload a CSV file with recipient details.
- Select the template to use.
- Review the list and click Send Bulk Emails.
5. Credentials Management
Viewing Your API Key
In the Credentials section, you can find your API key:
- Click on Credentials in the navigation menu.
- Your API key will be displayed here. Use the Copy button to copy it for your API requests.
Generating New API Keys
If you need a new API key:
- Go to the Credentials section.
- Click Generate New Key.
- Store the new key securely.
Deleting Old API Keys
To maintain security, delete old or unused API keys:
- Locate the key you want to delete in the Credentials section.
- Click the Delete button next to the key.
- Confirm the deletion.
6. Account Settings
Updating Account Information
To update your account information:
- Click on your profile icon in the top right corner.
- Select Account Settings.
- Update your details, such as email address or password.
- Click Save Changes.
Managing Subscription Plans
In the Account Settings, you can manage your subscription:
- View your current plan and usage statistics.
- Upgrade or downgrade your subscription as needed.
- Review billing history and payment methods.
7. Support and Help
If you encounter any issues or have questions:
- Navigate to the Help section in the dashboard.
- Access FAQs, guides, and contact information for support.
- You can also submit a support ticket directly from the dashboard.
8. Activity Logs
Viewing Recent Activity
Keep track of your actions and changes:
- Navigate to the Activity Logs section.
- View logs related to template creation, email sends, and API key usage.
This feature helps you monitor your account's activity for security and troubleshooting.
