Creating a New Template
- Click on the "Create New Template" button.
- Enter a name for your template in the provided field.
- Use the template editor to design your email layout and content.
Template Fields
When creating a template, you can include various fields, such as:
- Subject Line: Define the subject line for your email.
- Content Blocks: Add headings, paragraphs, images, buttons, etc.
- Styling Options: Use Tailwind CSS classes to customize the appearance of each component.
Using Dynamic Values
You can personalize your templates by including dynamic values, such as:
- User Name
- Company Name
- Other Relevant Data
To add dynamic values, use placeholders in your content blocks that will be replaced with actual data when sending the email. You can add placeholders like so. For example, you can use {name}
for the recipient's name.
Previewing Your Template
Before saving, you can preview how your email will look by clicking the "Preview" button. This will show a live representation of your template with sample data.
Saving and Managing Templates
Once you’re satisfied with your template:
- Click the "Save Template" button.
- You can manage your templates from the Templates section, where you can edit, delete, or duplicate existing templates.
Best Practices
- Keep It Simple: Avoid overly complex designs that may confuse recipients.
- Test Your Templates: Send test emails to yourself to ensure everything looks and functions as intended.
- Use Clear Call-to-Actions: Ensure your emails guide recipients toward the desired action.
- Optimize for Mobile: Ensure your templates are responsive and look good on mobile devices.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues while creating or sending templates:
- Check for any error messages in the dashboard.
- Ensure all required fields are filled out.
